Canada Puts Brakes On Electric Cars

Despite increasing demand for zero-emissions vehicles, Canada will not allow electric cars on its streets, for now.

Transport Canada says the vehicles made of lightweight metals and plastics are not safe to drive on Canada’s open roads, and would not stand up in a collision.

But Quebec is another story, as usual.
