Milk Thistle is a flowering plant in the daisy family. It is native to the Mediterranean regions of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Health uses, mainly for chronic liver disease and as a hangover cure, have been traditionally claimed for the plant. Research continues in that vein, but we also are seeing it more and more in skin care products.
