Cotton Ginny Goes Eco-Ganic

cottonginnyecoganic_photos.jpg

Hold the phone, mall-stalwart Cotton Ginny has gone organic. That’s right, their new Eco-Ganic line features 100% certified organic cotton products, like shirts, denim, hoodies and soon enough even baby products.

The Eco-Ganic line is a great way for Cotton Ginny to show us their commitment to sustainable style through the use of organic cotton which is grown without the use of toxic pesticides, fertilizers or genetically modified sees and that’s certified by an accredited independent organization such as SKAL (non-profit foundation that specializes in organic certification internationally). Though cotton is a natural fibre, it’s also one of the most chemically treated crops on the planet. It takes one third of a pound of pesticides and fertilizers to produce enough cotton for one single T-shirt.

You have love to see organics going mainstream and becoming more accessible to us all.
