Egg Flat

eggflat_photos.jpg

Store keys, snacks, loonies, toonies or anything you want in this tabletop EGGFLAT by California designer Josh Jakus. And check this out - you can flatten it for storage and then unfold it when you need it again. It’s made from 100% factory excess industrial wool felt, nylon stitching.

This sculptural tabletop piece evolved out of an experiment in bending surfaces along seams. Folds flat for storage and then unfurls to hold coins, keys, fruit, and other small treasures. Individual units can be joined laterally to form a landscape. Grey industrial wool felt made from factory excess.
