The Environment, Cancer and You
The Canadian Cancer Society has launched an online handbook that details the environmental substances known to or suspected of causing cancer and what people can do to limit their exposure.
Entitled “The Environment, Cancer and You,” the handbook discusses asbestos, radon gas, electromagnetic fields, flame retardants, labeling of consumer products, phthalates in plastics, teflon and non-stick cookware, and water chlorination by-products. And here it is.
