Greening Greenthinkers (And Your Blog Too)

According to one expert, a single Google search uses about as much carbon as making a cup of tea. If that’s the case, how can us bloggers save some energy while still doing the work we love to do?

According to Planet Green, we can…

  1. Green our computer settings. First thing’s first, ensure that our computer is set to the most efficient mode possible so that we’re not draining excess energy while working on blog posts.

  2. Keep it simple; post fewer pictures.

  3. Make our blog carbon neutral. Online services like CO2 stats will assess our blog’s total energy consumption, and then we can make carbon offset purchases to neutralize its impact.

  4. Encourage our readership to view our blog on greener machines, too.
