New Toys: Ukoonto Stacking Blocks

ukoonto_photos.jpg

This wooden puzzle from Ukoonto is made in Canada from recycled post industrial wood.. Hans Eich, the company’s founder, says the blocks stack better than standard blocks because of their varied shapes.

All wood used is 100% recycled (but never used) wood from local sources. Ukoonto only uses energy from alternative sources and makes a large effort to only choose the most eco-friendly practices in the production of its toys.

Awaken the architect in your child. This educational toy helps develop fine & gross motor skills, spatial thinking and hand-eye coordination. The natural touch of the wooden surfaces has a stimulating effect on your child’s mind.
