CBC's Great Food Revolution

CBC’s new series The Great Food Revolution seeks to explain the radical change in our ways of eating, drinking and thinking about food. It’s a revolution that’s turned our traditions upside down and changed the global economy.

This four-part series takes a fascinating look at the multi-faceted world of food. The series was produced by English and French networks teams who shared expertise throughout the project. The first episode, titled “The Great Food Revolution,” looks at how our tastes have evolved over the past 30 years. The second episode, “The Battle to Get on Your Plate,” explores the fierce competition driving the food industry. “24 Hours, 24 Million Meals” shows what goes into feeding eight million New Yorkers three times a day! And the last episode, “Food of the Future,” ventures into the unknown, exploring major food trends of the future.
