CIAS: 2010 Toyota Prius
Since we discussed the Insight yesterday, it’s more than appropriate that we tackle it’s twin today - the 2010 Toyota Prius.
What’s different for 2010? Well, the new Prius hits the road with a new 1.8 L engine that uses electric power-steering and water pumps, both of which Toyota says improve efficiency and help eliminate the need for accessory belts. Also, Toyota says a better aerodynamic package means a lower drag coefficient.
And then comes the fun stuff: Solar-powered remote air-conditioning system and LED exterior lighting.
Oh, and great fuel economy, too.
