Mario Batali's Bags & Good Deeds

mariobatalishoppingbag_photos.jpg

Celebrity chef Mario Batali has teamed up with Toronto-based manufacturer Cosmoda to come out with a delightful line of bags in support of community hunger programs.

The line features bags with a host of sizes and styles, ranging from small satchels to large totes. Our favourite is the plastic bag replacing Bucatini Market Tote. Why? Well, it has a shoulder strap, a drawstring closure, a fun Mario Batali collage design, an insulated interior to keep items warm or cool, and (best of all) an easy to wipe lining. Need we say more?

Ok, we will. As hinted above, when purchasing a Mario Batali lunchbag, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Lunchbox Auction. The Lunchbox Auction splits its proceeds between The Food Bank for New York City in the US and The Lunchbox Fund in South Africa whose goals it is to feed our children and give them every opportunity to learn and live their dreams.
