Weather Stripping Your Doors

From the annals of the Creative Home Owner project archive comes another useful energy and cost-saving procedure - weather stripping your doors.

The bottom edge of a door is one big air leak. Weather stripping kits offer rigid strips of vinyl, aluminum or wood, with a flexible seal that can be mounted to just the door, the threshold, or both.

A tip from the experts: Don’t scrimp on these kits. It needs to be durable and stay flexible for years or you’ve wasted your money.
